Event Fees

Registration fees:
Fees for 2010: $175 for adult entry, $135 for youth, age 14 and under

What you get:

Meal Plans

At registration, each rider will sign up for the optional breakfast and/or dinner meal plans.
If you sign up for either or both, you will be given a wrist band that is your entry into the meal.
If you decide to eat elsewhere for any of the meals, there is no refund. Menus will not be available prior to registration but all evening meals will include both a meat and a meat-less option.
If you don't sign up for a meal plan but decide to join in a meal one evening, you won't be served until after the meal plan participants have been served.

Headphone Rule

Headphones are not allowed when cyclists are riding on the road. Hearing is impaired and it creates a safety hazard; therefore the use of headphones is not allowed on the Tour de Wyoming - while riding.

Young Riders

Participants under the age of 18 are required to have an adult accompany them on the ride.
Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult ON THE ROAD at all times.
We enjoy having young riders but be certain youngsters are safe on the highway.
We have had kids in the past who clearly were not familiar with highway riding and tended to ride out in traffic!
Also, the Tour de Wyoming sag support is not meant to be used daily and regularly. Sag support is there when needed, more on an emergency or occassional basis - not a free taxi.

Overnight Accommodations

Overnight camping accommodations include gym space and tenting options. We will be staying primarily at local schools. Showers will be available each evening and in Green River at the end of the ride.
On Day 2, we will be staying at the Garden City KOA. Indoor campers will be assigned cabins, with up to 6 people per cabin. If you prefer more privacy, feel free to camp in a tent that night or consider reserving your own cabin (at your own expense) with the KOA at: (435) 946-3454.
If you indicate you'll camp outdoors and opt to go indoors some of the time, that is fine. You don't need to let us know ahead of time. The opposite is true, too, if you opt to go outside even if you indicated you'd be inside.
If you prefer a more civilized approach, motels are available in all our overnight destinations. Transport to and from the motel are your own responsibility. We recommend pedaling to the motel and carrying overnight gear in a knapsack. You can keep your heavy duffel on the luggage truck overnight.

On The Road Support

Rest stops will provide snacks, water and power drink every 15 to 20 miles.
Typical rest stop foods: fresh fruit, peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches, various types of cookies, and the ever-popular Salted Nut Rolls.
A rest stop schedule (with start and end times for each stop) will be provided at the start of the tour.
We provide Port-a-potties at all rest stops.
If you wear out, get too tired, or just want a break, we'll have vehicles available to give you a ride down the road a ways or to the day's destination.
This SAG support is meant to help on occassion; it is not meant to carry a rider each day to the next destination.
Train for the ride appropriately and use the SAG only when needed - it is not a taxi service.
